SuiteCRM 7.8.x has reached its End of Life (EOL) on July 1st 2019 which means that the SuiteCRM core team will no longer be providing maintenance patches or bug fixes for 7.8.x.
On behalf of the team here at SalesAgility, we would like to thank all the contributors for volunteering their time and effort to the 7.8.x version and we hope to see your continuous support in the later versions.
All customers using 7.8.x in production should consider one of the following options:
- Upgrade to version 7.10.x LTS
- Upgrade to version 7.11.x (this is not Long Term Support)
Please note, to still receive security updates please upgrade to 7.10 or 7.11.
To help users discuss the impact of the end of life of 7.8.x, what’s new in 7.10.x LTS; and how to upgrade confidently we had a number of open discussions on the forums and GitHub. These conversations sparked a few actions from the core team, as well as community members eager to help. Such actions included the beginning of a migration guide to help system admin decide on the best way to upgrade and public sprint planning events were also initiated, where we ask the community to nominate their most wanted issues.
