What a fantastic year! We have been so overwhelmed by the response from our Open Source SuiteCRM community – you have broken the project’s record of pull requests (PRs) created and merged by community members!
Numbers Don’t Lie
So let’s start with the SuiteCRM repository: we had an amazing 157 PRs created in October, with 104 of them coming from our amazing Community! We also need to give a shout out to the SalesAgility internal team who contributed 53 PRs overall.
Trick or Suite Thursdays was hugely successful, the SuiteCRM Team were able to merge in a whopping 121 PRs, 75 of which came from Community created PRs! That is amazing! That blasted our PR Party from last year right out of the water!

SuiteDocs – 2019 – Number of Community PRs Created and Number of Community PRs Merged
We received 29 Community PRS and processed 100% of them, merging 22 successfully into the SuiteCRM codebase!
We did get a few PRs raised to our other repositories as well so again, thank you for all your incredible efforts and, we hope that we will continue to see more regular contributor’s usernames!
Conclusions
We hope everyone enjoyed participating in our ‘Trick or Suite Thursdays’ as part of this years HacktoberFest. We felt it was extremely motivating, not only to our community members but also the SalesAgility team members, some of whom, are happily awaiting Hacktoberfest 2019 t-shirts (expect some photos soon)!
We are also excited to reach out to those who are eligible for SuiteCRM contributor mugs, having had a PR successfully merged during October.
The SuiteCRM team worked feverishly to process as many PRs and items of interest as possible, however, we couldn’t cover every single one. Don’t fret if we missed your PR though – we are planning on another event over the festive period.
