SuiteCRM 7.15 had landed with a solid set of improvements focused on making the platform easier to work with day to day. Among the many changes, we’ve refined email import handling and calendar syncing.

On top of that, we’ve improved the text editor and made sure surveys look good on any device, all with updated PHP support and API security to help keep your data protected and your system running at peak performance.

What’s new in 7.15?

Better Control Over Email Imports

We have introduced more granular controls for automatic email importing. These changes reduce server load and improve accuracy:

  • Unread Only: Choose to fetch only unread emails during the import process.
  • Custom Start Points: Pick exactly when you want a new mailbox to begin.
  • Threshold Limits: Set a cap on how many emails are imported per run to keep things fast.

Advanced Calendar Integration & Sync

We’ve rebuilt the way SuiteCRM talks to your other calendars:

  • New “Calendar Accounts” Module: Manage your connections (including new CalDAV support) right from your User Profile.
  • Admin Sync Settings: A new home in the Administration panel for managing global sync behaviour.
  • One-Click Invites: Meeting and call invites now include “Add to Calendar” buttons for both Google Calendar and Outlook – making it easier for your guests to save the invites.

Other Interface & Developer Enhancements

  • Support for PHP 8.4: SuiteCRM is now fully compatible with PHP 8.4.
  • TinyMCE 8: The text editor has been upgraded. Whether you’re writing an email or a template, the experience is consistent and modern across every module.
  • V8 API: OAuth Auth Code Grant: For developers and those using external apps, we now support the Authorisation Code Grant flow. It’s the industry standard for keeping your data connections secured.
  • Mobile-Ready Surveys: We’ve improved the CSS styling for our Surveys module. Now, whether your customers are on a phone or a tablet, your surveys will look professional and be easy to fill out.
