SuiteCRM Roadmap

SuiteCRM Ltd develops and maintains SuiteCRM. This page shows the enhancements we are aiming to include in upcoming releases and how long each version stays supported. It reflects our current intent rather than a commitment. Priorities move when security work takes precedence or when users tell us we have the order wrong.

This roadmap is reviewed on a regular basis. It was last updated on  Thursday 30th July 2026.

SuiteCRM 8.11

  • Expected release: Q4  2026
  • Key aims:
    • Workflow Improvements. Options to trigger workflow from button on different views and new more power calculated field engine
    • Theme Updates:  Simplify the process to extend or override the theme, along side a refinement of theme colours
    • Angular 21 upgrade: keeps the SuiteCRM 8 interface on a supported version. No visible change, but test custom frontend extensions against the pre-release build

SuiteCRM 8.12

  • Expected release: TBC
  • Key aims:
    • Campaign email builder: a drag-and-drop designer for campaign emails, available alongside the existing editor rather than replacing it
    • Relationship field editing: view and edit fields held on a relationship, such as a contact’s role on an opportunity, from the record itself
    • Automated release testing: an acceptance test suite run against every release to catch regressions before they ship

The SuiteCRM lifecycle

We publish new releases regularly so that users, businesses, partners and developers can plan their own roadmaps around ours. Minor 8.x releases arrive roughly every eight weeks and upgrading between them is a routine job. Patch releases carry security and bug fixes only, with no new features and no database changes.

Extended support releases

SuiteCRM 7.15 is an extended support release. It extends the life of 7.x by at least a further two years, giving clients, community members and partners extra time to plan their move to SuiteCRM 8. Security fixes for 7.15 continue until January 2028. The latest 7.15 packages are on the releases page.

We have not yet nominated the first SuiteCRM 8 extended support release. We will confirm it here once we have, and we expect to do that by Q3 2027. In the meantime we are continuing with smaller feature releases published more often, which keeps development moving and keeps each upgrade between 8.x versions small.
