7.2 Beta 2 Upgrade "Not Compatible"

I’m trying to upgrade my 7.1.5 lab to the 7.2 beta, but upon uploading the package, I receive the following error message:

The uploaded file is not compatible with this version of SuiteCRM: 
SuiteCRM System Version: 6.5.20

I’ve tried re-downloading the package, as well as ensure that all the permissions were set properly.

Is there a particular reason why 6.5.20 isn’t supported, or is it safe to just edit the manifest.php accordingly?

I would advise you to wait for 7.2 beta 3, due this week, before upgrading

It did install, but gave some strange reactions after the upgrade on both 7.1.4 and 7.1.5. Unpacks the data, runs the scripts and then just whitescreens as if there were a permissions error. Navigating to the home page seems to get it working again, but have to reload the page to clear up some non-loading header issues.

It’s running on a disposable clone, so trashing it and starting up a working 7.1.4 to upgrade from is not an issue.
