Text Editory missing when editing email, but shows when editing email signature

Hello, I recently install SuiteCRM, Version 7.11.8, Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344). It is running locally using Xampp.

The issue I am experiencing is that the editor is not showing at all when composing an email from:

—> Marketing/Create Task/Compose Email
—> Activities/Emails/Compose+

I have TinyMCE selected as the editor and see the editor when creating a signature. Just no TinyMCE when composing emails.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,

Email Editor only works on “Email Templates” and campaign modules. It does not affect the compose email functionality.

I have never been able to see the email body on compose. It is always blank, visibility:hidden

Doesn’t matter if I choose Mozaik, Direct HTML, or TinyMCE – always the same. Never a body field. Been this way through many versions, on 7.11.7 now .

Nothing logged, just endlessly annoying not being able to send an e-mail (same for reply, and for popup compose dialog after clicking on an e-mail).

Editor for composing EMail template works just fine … so wierd not being able to compose a simple e-mail!

Any help appreciated – I’ve looked at EmailsComposeView.js and view.composer.php, etc, do NOT see where this is going wrong. All other fields are just fine – ONLY the Body editor / plain text field refuse to show.
