company logo upload error

Getting error while upload logo from “Admin=>System Setting => Select Logo”. :unsure:

Error: The file format of the image must be JPEG or PNG. Upload a new file with the file extension .jpg or .png.

What is your SuiteCRM version?

Are you uploading a file of which type? I think sometimes even if it’s a JPG or PNG, it might have some unsupported aspect (a certain type of resolution or compression, for example).

You might also have a problem with file ownerships and permissions, maybe SuiteCRM can’t write the file to disk.

I am on 7.11.7 with the same issue. I have even copied the “Suite CRM” .jpg file above the upload button and tried to upload it which gives the same error. I have tried .jpg, .png of every size to no avail. I was on an older version with the same issue and upgraded to 7.11.7

I have replace core logo with my client logo. you need to save logo with company_logo.png name.
I know this is not proper way. But I don’t get any other way.
