Hello together,
so far I found that it is possible to set a default Group for all new created Items.
It I set this to lets say sales group a document created from a member of the manager group is visible by the sales group which I don‘t want

Is it possible to connect a new created items the group of the creator.

For example:
If a member of the sales group creates an item, the item has the permission of the sales group.

If a member of the Manager group creates an item, the item has the permission of the Manager group.

If a member of the owners group creates an item, the item has the permission of the owners group.

thank you
Mark

In Admin / Security Suite Settings, don't configure the "Default group", leave that as "None".

Just use the Security Groups inheritance options. This should do what you want (and it is on by default, I believe!).
