Normal release to LTS version upgrade

What is the simplest way to move from normal release to LTS? We are using 7.10 release now.

7.10 is an LTS release.

So, LTS release version is the same as normal lease version with no code changes. So, assume 7.10 becomes an LTS release, if you already running normal release 7.10, no upgrade needed?

Long Term Support (LTS) is just a label put on certain releases, and the commitment that goes with it.

In the initial moments of 7.10, the label “LTS” wasn’t used, deliberately, to avoid putting too much confidence in a release that was just going into the hands of the larger public. But as soon as the 7.10.1 and 7.10.2 bug fix releases come out, it will get the label. But no upgrades are required to “go LTS”, you just stay with 7.10.x updates and you are LTS.
