Why you change your front end CMS to Wordpress instead of Joomla?

Hi

I wonder why you change your front end CMS to Wordpress from Joomla? Your front page doesnt look nice even you have changed to a new design

It its better ACL and use for a more powerful CMS like Joomla than Wordpress too. If its about design and simplicity you can just add a free easy to use design template framework like Helix Ultimate with SP Pagebuilder Pro and you can do all magic you want.

I would like to use SuiteCRM with Joomla and now I just get a bad feeling

And you can use a great community social profileing system like EasySocial too to get the right feeling here at the community…

Personally I don’t care what system is used by a company on their site. Its on them!

On the other hand the Joomla AOPortal it looks more a dead project (Latest merged from 2016 and some PR not approved)
Even if there is a PR for multiportal support and a recent WIP for new rest api

On the Joomla side
The previous link for the plugin is gone (was: https://suitecrm.com/download/suitecrm-joomla-plug-in
A JED listing was never created!

For the curious, the Wiki its working: https://suitecrm.com/wiki/index.php/Userguide#Advanced_Open_Cases_with_Portal

There is a paid plugin to Joomla

yes its seems that the plugin never got to the JED too so of course no people in the Joomla community know about suiteCRM and that could be used together with Joomla.

I just wish this site was built with Joomla and a free template framework like Helix Ultra https://www.joomshaper.com/helix with Bootstrap 4 with SP Pagebuilder it would make a better visual impression for suireCRM too… https://www.joomshaper.com/page-builder

C’mon, cut us some slack here. We cannot do everything at once.

If the Portal is a major issue there are alternatives in the Store.

Otherwise, please lobby us. Community is powerful. Let us know as a community that Portal is a feature we need to revisit.

… and the link to download the Portal is now back up on the site:

https://suitecrm.com/resources/suitecrm-joomla-portal-plug-in/

… and there is new code being pushed to GitHub with new features (ability to join multiple Joomla sites to SuiteCRM):

https://github.com/salesagility/SuiteCRM/pull/5426

… and the Portal is being updated to support the new OAuth 2 server.

So it needs some work, but it’s definitely not dead or forgotten.
