Workflow to create follow up call related to Target

I have created a workflow that is triggered when an email is received and the Target Lead Source = BLV Customer. The workflow then adds an activity but when it runs, the activity is not related to the Target.

Any help on what I am doing wrong?

You are not specifying a relationship. You have checked ‘Relate to Workflow Module’ in the action, but this will relate to Emails as that is the workflow module, not Targets.

So I unchecked the ‘Relate to Workflow Module’ in the action but it is not relating them to the target, can you explain to me what I need to change specifically?

You need to specify to relate to the target record, i.e. build a relationship in the action, otherwise the workflow won’t know how to relate to the target!

When I try to add a relationship, there is no option for Target/Prospect
