Add Dashlets issues

Hi, i’m new to suiteCRM, and i’ve installed a fresh copy in my server of the Version 7.11.7 Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344).

I’ve managed to get it working but in the home page i can not add Dashlets neither move or delete them , nothing happens. I’ve installed in another server…the same thing, i also try the suiteCRM demo here and the same happens. i’m i doing something wrong?

Hi lbfcarreira,

I’ve created a fix for this issue here: https://github.com/salesagility/SuiteCRM/pull/7697. You should be able to either pull this into your instance or wait for the next SuiteCRM release.

Hi Phil,

I can’t guarantee a specific date but we typically release a minor patch once per month (Which for the next release would land w/k 26th).

You should be able to apply the fix manually. If you have access to your back end just copy the folder into include/SugarCharts/

I also have this problem, and am not so sure how to apply the fix manually. I am using google cloud platform to run suitecrm. can you please walk me through how to copy this folder to where it needs to be?

@scaturro which version are you running? Have you tried simply upgrading to the latest?

Im running Version 7.11.7. It was a slog for me to get it up and running (I am not the most computer literate).

I was unsuccessful in downloading from the links on suite crm website until I succeeded in cloud services. Im still not quite sure what I did to make it work but I am trying to familiarize myself w the features and I dont really have an idea how to edit folders or anything. honestly Im not sure if suite crm is running from mycomputer or google cloud services tbh.

do I manually up that folder on my computers hard drive or do I do it in google cloud services somehow?

  1. Download this file:

  2. Uploaded it to your hosting to folder …/include/SugarCharts/

  3. Unzip the folder. (It will create a subfolder called Jit)

  4. Login into your SuiteCrm and test if you can add a dashlet. If it doesn’t work try to run a Quick Repair

I added jit to the location on my c drive, and did quick repair.

You said you are running it on a cloud platform why you unzip it on your C: drive? Do you have installed locally?

I have no clue what Im doing! I tried a lot of different things originally to get suitecrm running including originally downloading to my c drive. Its still on my computer I (bc I was not sure if I needed it there to use google cloud service).

My next question is how do I access the location to put the file I dowloaded from your link into the cloud? thats what I want right? sorry I have never done any of this!

Please do not take this as an insult but I recommend you to investigate a little bit more about how web development works. Or if you can afford, it will be a good idea to look for professional help.

I have suitecrm up and running (seemingly) on google cloud. I have successfully added 1000 contacts, and setup email addresses.

I the first problem I’ve run into is the dashlets. I’ll look into the documentation but seems like it could be easy to just tell me where to drag and drop the file…

Dashlets issue remains.

I customed some modules and apply them, then came back to homepage to add dashlets, the spinning wheel appeared. I’ve check all available ways including Sugarchart/jit solution. The issue remains.

I uploaded the extracted Jit-Folder to …/include/SugarCharts in SuiteCRM Version 7.11.7 - BUT still can not “Add Dashlet”. When I hit the button nothing happens.

Quick repair, deleting cache does not help.

Ideas?

It happened to me in the previous version (7.11.7), and It still happens to me . I can’t verify from wich version It stopped working…
