Is there a possibility to easily add an Activity Stream for individual module items? We have a lot of information we track and it is nice to have a stream that is within each contact, account, custom modules, etc…
Is this doable?

It seems like the Notes module sort of does what I want, but it would be nice to see an activity stream subpanel in a custom module.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by “individual module activity streams”.
Have you seen the “Case updates Threaded” feature in Cases module? Is that what you want? All the updates to the current record, directly visible in the detail view?
