I would like to use an external mail client. I changed the setting to “external mail client” but when I try to send emails, it still uses the SugarPHP Mailer… Why?
Where exactly did you change that setting? In the user’s individual profile, or somewhere in Admin area?
When you say use “SugarPHP Mailer”, which is a back-end library that handles SMTP sending, do you really mean that? Or do you mean that you click compose and you see the SuiteCRM email client (Mozaik or TinyMCE)?
After enabling “External Email client” , after clicking on an email address, it will Open your OS default program ie Outlook in case of windows.
