Use of gmail account not working for email

Hello,

I recently installed suitecrm. It is v7.10.7.

I added my gmail account as the email that we want to use.

But, when I send a test email, it fails.

I have never used a gmail account, so I have not seen success or failure here.

Where should I start looking to see why this is failing?

When you send the test email and you get a dialog box saying it failed, it should include a link saying “see full SMTP log”, this will let you see the full “conversation” SuiteCRM is having with Gmail’s server. The error there will be specific: wrong password, wrong port, wrong sender address, etc.
