Updates-Text field in Case Update is trimmed when saving

When i Edit a Case and enter a Case Update in the “Updates - Text” field, the text entered is trimmed after save. I found out that the method “private function parseDescription” in /modules/AOP_Case_updates/AOP_Case_Updates.php does some cleaning of the HTML (in the comment of the function it says “Fixes unclosed HTML tags”). However while doing that it somehow discard most of the text i had originally entered, especially if it is pasted from a word/office or even html content.

any idea on how to solve this?

If it can help : this seems to be a bug in suitecrm as i see the same problem when i try the same thing in the demo
