Can you check the live demo to see if that is fixed on the latest version?

The fix was merged on Feb 13th

github.com/salesagility/SuiteCRM/pull/5116

you just need to update to a newer version on any branch (7.8, 7.9, 7.10)

I'm have updated SuiteCRM 7.8.3 to SuiteCRM 7.10.2 with
SuiteCRM-Upgrade-7.8.x-to-7.10.2.zip

After update in section "About" my profile menu as before - SuiteCRM 7.8.3 version.

Many my custom files were replaced after upgrade.

And bug still exist.

Before upgade i'm update PHP 5.4.45 to PHP 5.6.34.
What i'm do wrong?

If the version number didn't change, your backup didn't complete. Check your logs for any ERROR or FATAL messages:

upgradeWizard.log (this should explain what went wrong in the upgrade)
suitecrm.log
php_errors.log

Hi all, this problem persists in online demo (7.10.3). You can reproduce that in leads module: customize columns, apply a filter, remove the filter and you'll notice default columns layout.

Fix 4197 solves part of the problem (SuiteCRM continues to forget column customizations), but introduce bug #5495.

If the bug is reported on Github i guess it's better to comment there... especially if you can add some more technical info that might help.

No news from GitHub, so I wrote here...
