When i set up a meeting or a calendar entry, i or the invitees do not receive an hour before or when time i have set up to send out reminder. This is the version i am using please help.

Version 7.10.2
Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

Assuming your cron jobs are running from PHP CLI (command-line), it uses a different php.ini than the rest of the SuiteCRM app.

So you might need to set that timezone correctly.

If you have console access try this command to check effective timezone:
php -i | grep timezone

And edit your php.ini at the path given by
php -i | grep php.ini

I thank you for your information but unfortunately that did not do the trick. I do receive the invite mail but the reminders still do not arrive. Am I missing something else or could there be a different issue that is occuring. This is the free version with no module add-ons but that should not be the issue correct.

Yes this should work in the free version, which is the only existing version :-)

Please confirm that in Admin / Schedulers, when you click "Run Email Reminder Notifications", you see a "Last ran successfully" time that is recent, and in the correct timezone.

You see, some functions run from the app itself, as you click buttons or mov through screens, but others run asynchronously from the cron jobs, and we need to make sure they are running well, before any other troubleshooting.
