after upgrading to v 7.8.3, the search inputs are not shown anymore.
In fact no search inputs are visible.
Everything else seems to work.
I checked permissions and run quick repair.
Server and php error messages are not showing any irregularities.
Did you check the platform matrix before the upgrade?

Make sure your php/mysq/apache and OS version are falling under matrix acceptable versions.
already fixed it with reinstalling an old backup and updating again. Don’t know what went right this time.
