I am using version 7.10.8, I have some fields which are related but i splited them into 3 panels, how should I do in order to display these 3 panels under one tab without the 2 panels showing in other tab such as user profile and employee information?
Sorry, but I fail to understand what you mean from such a brief explanation. Maybe you can post some screenshot on https://pasteboard.co or describe in more detail.
And tell me what you have tried. Are doing this just from Studio, or from code?
HI
From my understanding it is a similar thing we have found since the new theme in SuiteCRM
In Studio > Edit View > Add new Panels - You can choose between “Panels” or “Tab”
Now in the old theme of SuiteCRM you could have
Tab1
Panel 1
Panel 2
Tab2
Panel 3
Panel 4
Tab3
Panel 5
Panel 6
But what seems to happen now is
Tab1
Panel 1
Panel 2
Panel 3
Panel 4
Panel 5
Panel 6
Tab2
Panel 1
Panel 2
Panel 3
Panel 4
Panel 5
Panel 6
etc
It doesn’t “group” panels in between the tabs anymore
Exactly what needed, the current default settng is for every tab, the panels will be shown under each tab, i am not sure if there is a way to make it in the “group” panel format.
Is there a solution to this?
Before wondering if there is a solution, I would ask “is there an open issue for this on GitHub?”
Aha, yes pgr I found it!
https://github.com/salesagility/SuiteCRM/issues/4178
Hopefully a solution is found soon.

Ya, back to one year ago, low priority bug.
Please everyone interested in a fix add your thumbs-up to the github issue.
I’m sure it’s a pretty easy fix, but I don’t think I’m up to the task.
