I’m using Win10 + MAMP and I’ve a problem when the setup is verifying DB credentials the process get stuck and is not possible to finish. Could you help me?

Can you login to the database from the command-line, using those same credentials?
Do you see anything in install.log, or php_errors.log (maybe called errors.log)
