Logo Upload broken. System generates $mod_strings.LBL_LOGO error

SuiteCRM version Version 7.9.4
Sugar Version 6.5.24 (Build 509)

When I upload a new logo, the file appears then on refresh the error $mod_strings.LBL_LOGO is displayed. I have tried re-uploading the same default logo and it won’t work.

I have checked via FTP and have noticed that:

  1. The logo does upload and can be seen in /upload/tmp_logo_company_upload/

  2. The logo is also in /themes/default/images/company_logo.png

  3. When I try to access the logo directly at /themes/default/images/company_logo.png?v=[some text], sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

Can you check file ownership and permissions on that directory and on that file?

Also, you’re using a very old version, this might be a bug that is already fixed…

I have now upgraded to:
Version 7.10.4
Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

Problem still exists

I have also change all permissions to 777 as a test and accessing the files directly still gives a 404 error.
