about the case, I would say this is normal since it has not been created yet!..
I checked on my dev 7.7.4 with suite P and I have the same behavior as you report.
I also ckecked on my production 7.6.5 with suite R and I have the same behavior that you report
I have no clue about the other field that you reference…
