[FATAL] SugarBean::populateDefaultValues $field_defs should be an array error

Hey All

I have made some extensive additions to the events module for something I need to do in SuiteCRM.

However, now, when I try to edit/save or create/save. I click the button and nothing happens. When I check in the log…

I am getting this error:

May 14 14:21:34 2018 [674388][bbf80a9d-e9af-ffca-8629-5af4a52eab73][FATAL] SugarBean::populateDefaultValues $field_defs should be an array

I cannot imagine what I have done with my additions of fields and relationships in the events module in studio, but it seems to be causing this and previously this was working.

Does anyone have any insight as to what I can look at that might have caused this?

Thank you!

Phil

So further to this…

I exported all my customizations. Reset the module which should have got rid of them all. They are all now gone.

And I still have the same issue. As soon as I try to hit save, nothing happens. I check the log and I have:

Mon May 14 14:55:02 2018 [688353][bbf80a9d-e9af-ffca-8629-5af4a52eab73][FATAL] SugarBean::populateDefaultValues $field_defs should be an array
Mon May 14 14:56:51 2018 [688842][bbf80a9d-e9af-ffca-8629-5af4a52eab73][FATAL] SugarBean::populateDefaultValues $field_defs should be an array
Mon May 14 14:58:43 2018 [689664][1][FATAL] SugarBean::populateDefaultValues $field_defs should be an array

The last entry was after I did a quick repair.

So even without the customizations. Still the same issue. BTW Does anyone have a guide on how to re-import the customizations?? :slight_smile:

Thanks all!!

Phil

Sorry!! Versions:

Version 7.10.4
Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

Also.

Just tried this : https://github.com/salesagility/SuiteCRM/issues/5832#issuecomment-387995655

Still non functional. Just for events however.

I’ve been watching this thread but I really don’t know how to help you. Maybe you can just ignore the error, if you don’t have any symptoms of actual problems.

Or you could try removing your customized files, one by one, just for the sake of experiment, to try and narrow down which one might be causing the error.
