In relate fields, drop down suggestions are taking about 2 seconds to load. Why is this happening? The database consists of only five entries.

Check your browser’s developer console, Network tab, to see this in action, and see if you can understand the delay.
If the delay is not in the server, it might also be some Javascript problem, see the same console for errors.
The browser console log is free of errors.
I am using XAMPP latest release on windows 10 machine with SuiteCRM 7.
