Unable to view change log for employees

Hi there

Wondering if anyone can help.
I’m trying to setup the change log for employee data, such as department, email, reports to and although I’ve set these fields to be audited, and then gone in and changed some of these values, I can’t view the change log, because the button doesn’t exist in either detail or edit view.

I had a go at making the button in the detail view def, but with no success.

Is this an issue that anyone else has, or is there a setting somewhere that I’ve missed or don’t know about?

I am not sure if this will work, but try adapting this to your module:

The employees module is a bit special in SuiteCRM: https://pgorod.github.io/Concepts-Users-Employees/

You might have to do your change in Users module, if you can’t get it to work for Employees only. In the Database, there is actually no table for Employees, it’s just Users.
