I am currently evaluating SuiteCRM for a nonprofit I’m working with. We want to try to implement an automated lead nurturing system.
one of our requirements is to be able to create a workflow that sends an e-mail to a new lead containing some sort of URL tracker that will generate an activity in the lead’s record if it is clicked. This in turn would trigger a workflow that would send a user an e-mail notifying a volunteer to follow-up on the lead.
From what I can tell, you can only insert a URL tracker in an e-mail template that is used for e-mail campaigns, not individual e-mails.
does anyone know of any modules or solutions to this?
I checked into using Mandrill with zapier, which appears to be a possible solution. Any advice on this would be most appreciated.
