Add invitees (on Calls and Meetings) to a custom module?

Hi all,

I’ve recently upgraded from SugarCRM CE 6.5.24, I have a requirement to search a custom module for contacts.

Anyone have any idea how you would implement the search button querying other modules at all?

Possibly it can also be done simply from Studio - I think (not sure, though) there is a checkbox in there to indicate that a certain field is “searchable”.
